For each sentence, choose the equation that best represents the situation.

1) The quotient of twice $x$ and $9$ is $87$:
$2\left(\frac{9}{x}\right)=87$
$\left(\frac{2x}{2\cdot9}\right)=87$
$\frac{9}{x}=87$
$\frac{2x}{9}=87$

2) The product of $y$ and the difference of $y$ and $9$ is $3$:
$y\cdot y-9=3$
$y(y-9)=3$
$y(9-y)=3$
$y\cdot9 - y=3$

3) If $4$ is subtracted from $7$ times $z$, the result is $9$ more than $8$ times $z$:
$(7-4)z=(8+9)z$
$7(z-4)=8 z + 9$
$4-7 z = 9 + 8 z$
$7 z - 4 = 8 z + 9$
